Priya Nair’s Story
Who is Priya?
Priya is a 9-year-old who loves drawing and cricket. She lives with her parents, both daily-wage workers, in Kochi.
What happened?
After months of unexplained fatigue and bruising, Priya was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in June 2026. Her oncologist started an intensive chemotherapy protocol immediately.
What treatment is required?
Priya needs a full course of chemotherapy spanning several months, along with regular blood transfusions and hospital stays to manage complications.
Why financial assistance is needed
Her parents' combined monthly income cannot cover even a single cycle of chemotherapy. Treatment has already been delayed once due to lack of funds.
How funds will be used
Donations go directly toward chemotherapy cycles, hospital stay charges, medicines, and transfusions at the treating hospital.
Current situation
Priya has completed two of six planned chemotherapy cycles and is responding well, but the family needs support to continue without interruption.
